ELITE-DM Set Debut in March 2025

FOSHAN, CN, MARCH 25th, 2025 – For the first real listening audition of ELITE-DM, a selected group of guests were invited to the event. We wanted our guests to see how revealing and wide the soundstage is, with a great focal center, even offset from the perfect position. A selection of few selected songs was played, and then guests were allowed to pair their own devices and play their music, or use the provided database with plenty of high quality music. Feedback was extremely positive. Quality was absolutely stunning, at any volume, without getting harsh even close to maximum volume. And, with any kind of music (rock, pop, classic and Chinese music). One of the guest was an expert in audio equipment, working for a different field (high quality loduspeakers for events, such as concerts, etc.). His genuine reaction after playing a selection of songs summed it up perfectly: "You have made a Rolls Royce here !".

During the auditioning, the system was able to effortlessly reveal how different a compressed file sounds versus a lossless format, such as FLAC or DSD. It still sounded very good from a lossy website such as YouTube, for example. The AAC codec they use is lossy but particularly good at rebuilding the original music, better than MP3. Also, the fact they compress only once from original master is a major plus. Overall, a lossless format just had a clarity that LDAC protocol at 900 Kbps was able to instantly reveal.
